Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) is dominant in Austria, its home market, where it is a leading corporate and investment bank, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). In CEE, RBI operates an extensive network of subsidiary banks, leasing companies and a range of other specialized financial service providers in 17 markets. RBI is the only Austrian bank with a presence in both the world's financial centers and in Asia, the group's further geographical area of focus. In total, around 60,000 employees service about 13.5 million customers through around 3,000 branches, the great majority of which are located in CEE.
ATM optimization study is the comprehensive project which include detailed description of the existing status of ATM business within the RBI group. The main goal was to identify key opportunities for P&L improvement and further ATM network development. Document included statistical data collection based on a standardized questionnaire, description of "best practice sharing" within the RBI group and a list of recommendations for improving of existing status. Whole project was delivered in a short timeframe of a few months including the communication and verification process with participants.
